Therapy That Feels Like Play, and Gets Real Results
In one-on-one sessions, your child has our clinician's full attention, and every minute is built around their specific goals. We meet kids where they are, follow what motivates them, and turn hard work into something that feels like fun. Because the plan is personalized — not pulled off a shelf — progress tends to come faster, and kids actually look forward to coming. You'll see goals, celebrate wins, and get simple ways to keep the momentum going at home.

Speech therapy tools, made by a bilingual SLP
We didn't just want better therapy for bilingual kids — we wanted better tools. So we built them. Our Complexity Approach flashcards bring the same research-backed thinking we use in sessions right into your hands at home.
These one-of-a-kind bilingual flashcards were created with a deep understanding of cross-linguistic transfer and the complexity principles shown to promote generalization. Each card features separate and shared English and Spanish words that are developmentally appropriate and contextually meaningful.
These flashcards also embrace cognate pairs, supporting research that shows bilingual children benefit from shared vocabulary and structural similarities between their languages.
Meet The team Behind It All

Bienvenidos, Friends!
¡Bienvenidos, friends! Desert Lily is led by Keila Gutierrez, a certified bilingual speech-language pathologist who stays closely connected to current research on speech sound disorders. You'll always work with someone who treats your family, and both of your languages, with care and respect.

Frequently Asked Questions
How often will my child have sessions?
Most children come once or twice a week, depending on their goals and what we find during the evaluation. We'll recommend a schedule that's effective without overwhelming your family.
Do you do therapy in both languages?
Yes. We support your child bilingually, so they grow in both languages rather than trading one for the other.
How long until we see progress?
Every child is different, but families often notice changes within the first several weeks. Consistency makes a huge difference — and the simple home strategies we give you help speed things along.
Can I sit in on sessions with my child?
Absolutely — and we love when you do. The more you understand what we're working on, the more you can reinforce it at home, which is where a lot of the magic happens.
What if my child also struggles with reading or writing?
We can help there too. Because speech, language, and literacy share the same foundations, many children benefit from pairing 1:1 speech therapy with literacy intervention. If we see that connection, we'll talk it through with you and fold it into one coordinated plan.
