Speech & Language Evaluations
Clear answers, a real plan, and peace of mind.

Finally Know What's Really Going On
The hardest part of worrying about your child's speech is the not knowing. Is this normal? Should we wait? Do they need help? An evaluation replaces all of that uncertainty with clarity. We take a complete look at how your child understands language, expresses themselves, and produces sounds — across both of their languages — then sit down with you to explain exactly what we found and what to do next. You'll leave with answers, not more questions.

Speech therapy tools, made by a bilingual SLP
We didn't just want better therapy for bilingual kids — we wanted better tools. So we built them. Our Complexity Approach flashcards bring the same research-backed thinking we use in sessions right into your hands at home.
These one-of-a-kind bilingual flashcards were created with a deep understanding of cross-linguistic transfer and the complexity principles shown to promote generalization. Each card features separate and shared English and Spanish words that are developmentally appropriate and contextually meaningful.
These flashcards also embrace cognate pairs, supporting research that shows bilingual children benefit from shared vocabulary and structural similarities between their languages.

Frequently Asked Questions
What happens during an evaluation?
It looks a lot more like play than a test. Your child interacts, plays, and talks with the clinician while we observe and gather information. We'll ask you about your concerns and your child's history, then combine everything into a clear picture of where they are.
My child is shy — what if they won't talk to you During The Evaluation?
That's completely normal, and we're used to it. A big part of our job is helping kids feel safe enough to open up. Even a quiet child gives us a lot of useful information, and we factor warm-up time right into the visit.
How long does A speech evaluation take?
Most evaluations take about [60–90 minutes], though it varies by age and what we're looking at. We'll let you know what to expect when you book.
Do you evaluate in Spanish and English?
Yes. As a bilingual clinic, we assess both languages so we get an accurate picture — not one skewed by testing your child in only one of the languages they live in.
Will I get results right away?
We'll share initial impressions with you the same day, and provide a full written report with findings and recommendations shortly after. You won't be left wondering what it all meant.
